Our surveying expertise includes Residential Surveys, Commercial Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Tree Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Category 1A Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Construction Staking, Elevation Certificates, Platting Services, Engineering support and Contractor support.
TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS
Topography Surveys show the elevation of specific points on the property. The points to be surveyed or the spacing grid is agreed on with the client before the works starts. Existing utility information, location, size, etc. can be included at the clients’ request.
RESIDENTIAL LAND SURVEYS
Residential title surveys meet title company requirements to close real estate transactions.
PLATTING SERVICES
A Plat is a map of a piece of land identifying the location and boundaries of street rights-of-way, individual lots or parcels, and other site information. The plat shows features such as lot lines, utility easements, setback lines, land dedicated for public use (e.g. streets and parks), ownership, and metes and bounds (boundary dimensions). Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 212, contains the state law governing the approval of plats.

ALTA/NSPS LAND SURVEYS
An ALTA Survey is a detailed survey prepared in accordance with the standards specified by the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). See below for a link of items that can be included on an ALTA Survey.

CATEGORY 1A LAND TITLES
A Category 1A Land Title Survey locates all important factors affecting boundary locations, ownership lines, rights of way, and easements within or adjacent to a tract of land. This survey is required whenever a property transaction requires a title policy.
BOUNDARY SURVEYS
A Boundary Survey certifies the boundary lines of a property without improvements shown.
CONSTRUCTION SURVEYS
Construction Staking consists of site layout based on interpretation of construction plans. Specific reference points are marked to show the location of building corners, driveways, drainage structures, light poles, utilities and other improvements.
ELEVATION CERTIFICATE
Elevation certificates are forms issued by FEMA for clients to use to obtain flood insurance, builders to use to obtain building permits, builder to use to satisfy city officials for interim slab and final elevations.

TREE SURVEYS
Tree surveys show location, size and type of trees to meet the individual needs of builders, developers, or architects to submit to certain city entities that may require a tree survey to obtain a building permit. The Tree Survey can be performed with or without a certified arborist.
UTILITY SURVEYS
Utility Surveys are a survey or map undertaken to reflect the location, size, depth, or condition of subsurface utility lines.

As the owner of Eagle Surveying, Dan is dedicated to providing a superior and timely product and excellent customer service and has built a team who shares the same goals.
Dan began his career with another surveying firm in 2001 as a Field Helper. With hard work and determination, he was quickly promoted to Crew Chief, Drafter, Field Coordinator and then General Manager for 12 years. Dan’s possesses an extensive knowledge of every aspect of surveying.

Mason oversees the day to day operations of Eagle Surveying. Matthew Raabe has extensive experience in Land Surveying of Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Projects with field experience utilizing conventional, robotic, and RTK/VRS GPS equipment and office experience using online GIS systems, standard Office programs, with more than two decades of experience using Autocad and Civil 3D. He has been directly involved in both public and private surveying projects such as: Rural and Urban Land Title, ALTA/ACSM Land Title, Topographic, Boundary, Tree, Residential and Commercial/Retail Subdivision development, Hydrographic/Bathymetric surveys for pre/post volume calculations of dredging operations, cross sections of rivers, creeks, and channels in costal waterways for pipeline crossings, Municipal Utility and Road Rehabilitation, Subsurface Utility Exploration and Location, Construction layout calculation and staking, and writing field notes for Boundary and Easement legal descriptions.

MIKE SKELTON

Mike has significant experience in large scale construction projects, such as the LBJ Express Tollway Project, Amazon Distribution Center DFW, and many subdivisions and commercial projects from start to finish. Mike started working construction during summers at the age of 14 with his father-in-law for a real estate company. It was there he found his interest in surveying. After high school and many other construction jobs working with utility contractors and excavating contractors, Mike found his way into the surveying field and was immediately hooked, being outside and retracing old deeds and property maps was very nostalgic. He found his calling in construction layout and provides the Eagle Surveying team with extensive experience in all types of construction in assisting clients with all needs during projects.

Greg has significant industry experience on major projects such as multi-floor office buildings, building community parks, Habitat For Humanity homes, flood studies in Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Tyler is proficient with Carlson/AutoCAD, Elevation Certificates, Boundary Surveys, and other items as required for Letter of Map Change requests through FEMA. Additionally, he is experienced in property research online at through records on file at courthouse/appraisal district sites in North Texas. Tyler's considerable experience includes Title Surveys, Easement Exhibits, Zoning Exhibits, Topographic Surveys, Platting, Subdivision Design, etc. As a member of the Eagle Surveying team, he has experience working with landowners, developers, lenders, investors, realtors, title companies, and municipalities with many types of land development as it relates to land surveying. Tyler has been involved in a number of significant projects, including the City of Lindsay, Texas, water and sanitary sewer upgrades; Castle Hills Phases 9, 10, & 11 (Carrollton, Lewisville, and Hebron, Texas); Boys and Girls Club new facilities in Gainesville, Texas; and Creekside at Hudson Oaks (mixed use multi-family/retail development in Hudson Oaks, Texas).

With his many years of field and processing experience, Todd provides expertise to our team in high definition laser scanning, dimensional control, bathymetry, metes & bounds, topographic surveying, and survey instrument rapid prototyping. Todd has worked on notable projects such as Louisiana statewide acoustic imaging for bridge inspections, Army Corps of Engineers sector gates, and Gulf of Mexico offshore platform scanning.
